Boston Jewish-Russian Center to host Jerusalem Day Celebration with Herut President Michael Kleiner
Jerusalem Day, or "Yom Yerushalayim" as it is known in Hebrew, marks the anniversary of the liberation of Jerusalem from Jordanian occupation. It is one of the most joyous outcomes of the decisive Israeli victory in the 1967 Six Day War. Jerusalem Day also marks the liberation of Judea, Samaria and Gaza from the Arab occupation.

Michael
Kleiner served in Israeli Knesset 1982 to 2003 as a member of Likud and
later Herut parties. Opposed Olso, left Likud and founded Herut party
after Wye agreements. Has a plan to deal Israel’s demographic and
security problems.
